#DavisStrong Shirt Fundraiser
In the early morning hours of April 26th, Mesquite Police Officer Davis Hicks was injured in the line of duty.
Officer Hicks was responding to a critical incident at the time of his injury. Officer Hicks was transported to Baylor Dallas where he underwent emergency surgery to repair a substantial injury to his right arm.
The doctors are hopeful that Officer Hicks will make a full recovery, but he is expected to be out for 6-8 months. Officer Hicks and his wife, Hailey, appreciate all the love and support they have experienced from the Mesquite Police Department – Texas, friends, and family.
The Mesquite Police Association Charities has organized a shirt fundraiser for the family. Pre-orders will be accepted until July 1st, 2021. The shirts will be made available for pick up and delivery by August 1st. All proceeds will go directly to the family.
