Special thanks to the City of Mesquite for the following video:
A message from Mayor Pickett prior to the event:
On behalf of the Mesquite Ministerial Alliance, I invite you to join us as we honor the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 3.
The 15th Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast will be the first activity of the day. The Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, graciously sponsored by the Mesquite Police Association, will be held from 7 – 8 a.m. at Family Cathedral, 790 Windbell Circle. The breakfast and service provide a unique opportunity for community leaders and residents to come together in fellowship and prayer for our city. In addition to the service, the City of Mesquite will announce the 2018 Addressing Mesquite Day date.
Later that same day, a noon gathering will be held at City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Avenue. This brief service will offer another opportunity to pray for our community. Lasting only about 30 minutes, this mid-day service is ideal for working individuals to attend.
The Mesquite Ministerial Alliance and I hope you are available to attend these events and I look forward to seeing you on May 3.
Sincerely,
Stan H. Pickett
Mayor
